What is SKY? Sky TV is a digital TV service through a satellite dish. Sky TV also offers customers a broadband and telephony service. There is a variety of monthly subscription television packages available, each of which can be tailored to suit your viewing requirements.

Sky Digital also brings Interactive TV, which allows you, the viewer, to interact with your Sky digital system to take part in a TV programme, play games, make purchases and even send text messages and emails, all through your television set.

Does SKY offer an HDTV service? Yes, Sky offer an HD service and it will soon be the only unit available from Sky. To get this you will need an HD ready TV and a Sky+ HD box, which has all the Sky+ features with double the storage capacity of a standard Sky+ box. HD Mix is required for HD viewing (£10 a month).

How much does it cost? Sky TV and Sky HD is a subscription service. Packages range from £19 to £51 a month. A minimum 12 month contract is required. HD Mix is required for HD viewing (£10 a month). As the Sky+ HD digital satellite receiver has an integrated hard drive, selected unmissable programmes, shows and television series are recorded and stored for that week, allowing you to watch these programmes 'on demand'. Dependant on the programme, these are also available in High Definition, and can be viewed at any time of the day, when it suits you.

Sky Multiroom Allows several Sky Digital receivers's to be controlled from one Sky Mini Dish, so everyone has separate control over what they watch wherever they are in the home.
